Choose one of the two venues and it is yours for the day! This package is for groups that are smaller and simply self sufficient. Picture arriving as early as sun up, decorating, having a brunch picnic, preparing for a ceremony, exploring the 200 acres of property. When your guests arrive they can enjoy themselves, witness a marriage, have a big potluck, play family games, a hilarious game of kickball or a host of other creative group event ideas. 

You are more than welcome to bring in food, drinks, music, and decorations for your event. 

Lodging is separate but we have lodging available if you want to stay past sun-down, after you wave off your guests to enjoy the stars or a campfire! We definitely recommend you book lodging for yourself if your event is a wedding so you have somewhere to get ready and somewhere to relax.

Black Lantern's property is a large beautiful blank canvas and we love to hear what you have in mind! Everyone not lodging must say goodbyes & be out before sundown. The venue must be cleaned up the same day unless prior arrangements are able to be made. The lake/pond-view max capacity is 40 & the inland boulder venue capacity for the independent package is 100 people. If your headcount is over 100, we can accommodate your event through the other option of a "Full Service" event package.
