Privately occupy the entire property for the weekend with just your guests.

Picture arriving to your lodging on Friday to get settled in, visiting guests that you have chosen to stay on property, and starting to experience the event you have created.

 Start setting up/decorating, enjoy a big dinner gathering, a first night campfire, or other group activities to create wholesome memories.

If Saturday is a wedding day, the bridal party can get ready in the cabins, and last minute touches can go on decor as your vendors set up for food or DJ etc. 

We chauffeur arriving guests as we great them at the entrance and a union, eating, dancing and fun ensue.

Some people opt to stay for more than 2 nights! A whole weekend for a amemorable event!

The 3 Cabins

Check in on Friday for two nights to our cabins:

Eleanor- Q bed & 1 Bunk)

Refuge- 3 Queen beds & 1 futon

Rustic- 1 Queen Bed

The bridal party can take over a cabin space to get ready or utilize cabin kitchens to prepare or store event food too! Having loved ones stay onsite ensures far more time to enjoy together. 

We often see guests extend their stay past the "included" two nights. If anyone is looking for a longer stay they simply book the lodging for more nights.

Bridal couples often stay Sunday night when they are able so they have a day to relax as a new couple together.

 

The Campsites

We have 7 RV/Campsites designed to harbor groups so each site is big enough to handle 2-3 RVs, plenty of tents & yard games. Everyone piles in to camp and have a good time.

The sites have a badminton net, horseshoes, a community firepit, a soccer net, cute woodshed and a little showerhouse. 

The sites are only about a 3 minute walk to the inland ceremony area. so guests can meander back and forth.

Each site has water, electricty, a firepit and a picnic table.

On Sunday, camping guests are welcome to drag their feet departing up until 3pm.

We are also very lucky to have 2 RV rental companies that deliver to our place! Backwoods Services LLC & Itasca Adventures LLC. These are fun!

The Property/Lake

Your party has room to explore!

Our little lake/pond is beautiful and teaming with wildlife. In the spring and late fall, enjoy paddling the lake in kayaks or the canoe:) There is a dockhouse stocked with lifejackets and basic fishing gear to enjoy, or just enjoy a sunset from the dock! Swimming is a tad gross here, we recommend sandy swimming beaches at Itasca State Park and Lake Lamond. There is a gorgeous picnic area overlooking the lake too.

Badminton, swingset, horseshoes, communal fire pit, tiny basketball area with 4square & a soccer net:)

200 acres with walking trails, (golf carts & bicycles are welcome), do our scavenger hunts or add on a competitive "gnome hunt", enjoy multiple picnic areas as well. 

There are stunning spots all over the property for photos and opportunities to see wildlife. 

 

Tikis!!

At sundown on Saturday, we light tons of these and it's a vibe all on it's own! They line the boulder path down to the venue and along the concrete staircase to the upper pavilion area.  

Greeters/Chauffeur

As your guests arrive for your event we are at the entrance for 2 hours to help get people parked, greet them and chauffeur down those who need a smile or assistance so they do not have to walk. We direct vendors and answer guest questions to make sure guests arrive feeling welcomed and taken care of.

Pavilion

The pavilion is at the top of the big boulder hill, there is water and electricity up there for brunches, fun dances, or just a space to relax. At 25x36 feet, the pavilion has shade, a pretty view and 5 picnic tables.

Things not included:

Party Rental tents/tables/chairs. We are an outdoor venue so these are crucial. Every event's size is so different, there is not a one-size fits ll tent. So guests order these separately based on their needs. We have picnic tables and one long 32' stationary table, so if your table/chair needs surpass that then rentals are necessary.

Food, DJ, Officiate,- Guests choose their own because it leaves room for price flexibility. Some events do not want a DJ and use a personal speaker. Food is highly personal and fun to pick out your favs without limitations. Officiates are personal as well. Some couples opt for a family member and others a pastor.

Bar/Bartenders- not all events have alcohol or need a full blown catered bar. We have a designated bar area with electricity and a 8' bar-top that people are welcome to set up at. If you want to hire are mobile bar there are plenty in our area!

Additional outhouses. We have one outhouse in each venue area, if these are not enough or adequate you must rent more. There are companies in the area that deliver handicapped potties and even trailers with running water/flush toilets if wanted.

Every event has different decor/color scheme, so we make the property beautiful and have our gardens and flower pots but guests bring their own decor/extra flowers if wanted.

Tents/Tables/Chairs: Our absolute favorite & trusted co. is Northern Tent Rental. Bemidji Party Store is solid as well. We also recommend Lefty's out of Grand Rapids.

Flowers: KD floral, Netzer's, Nature's Edge, Abbi's Bridal Design & Hanson's floral.
