A Winter Stay INCLUDES: A pair of SNOWSHOES, two SNOW SLEDS, stocked FIREWOOD, COCOA, COFFEE & CIDER, BOARD GAMES & DVDS. Snowmobile trail access on the property and ice fishing Moose Lake one mile away.
Activities in the WINTER: A favorite time of year for this cabin. The cabin is on a great hill to sled on, you can watch the family sled while you have a hot cider! We feed the deer in the winter so throughout the day you may see the deer come right close to the cabin to feed! Snowmobilers can hop on the snowmobile trail right from our property. There is also a great ice fishing lake one mile down the road- Moose Lake. So bring your portable ice houses or wheel houses! Play the provided board games, read a book, play cards, and enjoy the snowy landscape and cross fingers for a fresh snowfall so you can wake up to a winter wonderland. The perfect cozy getaway to nestle in for a memory making family getaway that is flat out, out of the ordinary. The deer visiting alone is the coolest thing to see:)))) A pair of snowshoes are provided at the cabin too. ATVers are also welcome and can enjoy our trails on site or travel 25 minutes to four wheel the epic ATV trails south of Zerkel in White Earth. Guests may not use the wood stoves without signing a contract through the Black Lantern. Ask about turkey hunting and muzzleloader opportunities too!

This unforgettable secluded cabin is nestled privately in the woods and provides a top level lookout, you can even watch the stars from your bed, watch the storms roll in, eagles fly by, and the wild animals pass through. Design inspired by a fire watchmen's tower. Perfect for two people or utilize the bottom level for additional guests to sleep 8 max. Three levels, the top and bottom levels for sleeping, separated by the center level for privacy -the center level for communing/eating and cooking. The bottom level has a wall out patio, carved wood wall decor, 1 cozy queen bed, a private and custom made tile bath/shower with double shower heads, there is a futon and TV with a DVD player. The upper level boasts a deck that wraps around the entire cabin overlooking a vast area to spot wildlife and stars. There are 2 queen beds, a sitting area, TV and another custom bathroom with a double headed shower. Catch the sunset over the pines, or the view with a cup of coffee on the deck. In the Winter you can see the sledding hill right from the kitchen as the family cruises by in snow sleds and wake up to deer feeding at the base of the hill. The center level has a fantastic full kitchen lined with windows and big dining table to bring everyone together. Stocked with all eating and cooking utensils, pots, pans, bowls, crock pot and so much more. There is a sitting area with another futon as well to play board games and such. Pets are unfortunately, NOT allowed.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
-Cancel outside of thirty days from your reservation and and there is no fee.
-Cancel thirty days or less from the date of your reservation and the fee is 50% of your total reservation.
-No Call No Show or cancel the day before or day of your reservation and the fee is 100% the total cost of your reservation.
Wake up Later, Extend Your Checkout - Our checkout time is 11am, If we double up the housekeeping you can stay till 12:30pm. When getting out of bed or moving faster than you want is just unthinkable, grab an extra hour and a half and enjoy your morning. Please add this package when making your reservation so we can plan accordingly, occasionally we can accommodate last minute requests for an extension. $30

Customize Your Surprise - Guests have sent everything from caviar, special bedding, ordered flower bouquets and petals, anything that you want to customize your stay for your wants we can conspire together and arrange. Many things can be sent via the post and we know the local vendors necessary to order items for pick up or delivery as well. Just ask and share your ideas, we are here to help. $ Depends
Romance Package - Add this on to any reservation, to be set up for you before or during your stay, you pick when and where. A bottle of champagne adorned with a satin ribbon, and two glasses for you to keep for your memory. Chocolates, crackers, salami, cheese and a card with your words written on it. From Spring to Fall, a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers will be set in a vase. We will also furnish candles and a matchbook for a dimmer light. $100
