We offer: Cabin Rentals, RV Park, Outdoor Venue, Pavilion for Potlucks and Dancing, ATV & Hiking Trails, Tiny Fishing Lake, Picturesque Landscaping, Events, Area Attractions, Free Boat Use, Privacy, Serenity, Wilderness, Weddings, Company Parties & Family Reunions. This unique property enables us to host a private party one weekend and then the very next day host guests throughout the RV park and cabins. It's absolutely a fantastic place. The forest here is dense, there is lots of wildlife, it is definitely a different experience from the normal. Exploring the woods, checking out a beaver dam, kayaking the little lake at sunset, watching the deer browse through and then the stars over a night campfire. This is the place.
WEDDING/PARTY VENUE: This area hosts, giant bonfires, concerts, apple cannon contests, potlucks, rent giant 100' party tents, and unforgettable weddings, the pavilion sets above a concrete dance floor with electricity for a DJ, bar or caterer that wants to set up. Watch the moon rise over the forest and host a tremendous gathering that your guests won't forget.
The Little Berg Lake, The Bigger Moose Lake & Swimming:
Our lake is small and FUN, we leave kayaks, and a canoe for guests to use for free with their stay. In the dock house, we stock various life jackets and fishing gear for guests to use freely. The lake is teaming with turtles, a beaver dam and huts, migrating swans, geese, perch, various pan fish, and other treasures to paddle around and find to spot in the water. Our lake is NOT for swimming, there are too many weeds.
NEWS : Beavers keep the lake dammed up and they have given us a bigger deeper lake. :) Paddle to the dam area and check out their handiwork, stay off the dam as we are protecting it and it will break,
Moose Lake is 1 Mile down the road and larger than our Berg Lake, small boats can be launched there (not a concrete launch) and it is great fishing.
Swimming by us:
A) Itasca State park just 20-25 minutes away has a beautiful beach with bathrooms and showers and the park is a great place to visit too.
B) There is another swimming beach in Bagley just 12 minutes away. Lake Lamond Beach.
C) In our RV/Camping sites we encourage families with children to bring a sprinkler for the kiddos to have fun in too.
Lodging: We have three rental cabins, Eleanor, Refuge, & the Rustic. There are 7 RV/Campsites too.
Cabin Eleanor is privately set in the forest on stilts almost like a treehouse, fully stocked, beautifully appointed with a full kitchen, secluded deck, and custom bath with double shower heads, also with a private fire pit and propane fireplace. 4 guests Max
The Refuge is secluded in the forest without neighbors as well, designed after a guard tower. It has a beautiful view of the wilderness, watch the stars from bed from the top lookout room. A wrap around deck and a stunning interior. Has 3 Queen beds and 2 futons. 8 guests Max
The Rustic Cabin is set in the RV/Camping sites and is very small, only sleeping 2 people, but used often by guests that wish to be by the RV/campsites and other guests. It has a queen size bed, mini fridge, stove/oven, TV and utilizes water jugs for the guest's water source. An outhouse is used when staying in the Rustic cabin and we have no bathhouse yet, we are building one.
RV Park/Campsites: Each RV Site has water and 50/30/20amps of electricity. Firewood is available on site, and there is an RV dump available for your departure. Each site is large and can accomodate big rigs and multiple rigs, each site has a picnic table and fire pit with use restrictions sometimes. Dumpster available for trash. We do lack trees in the RV sites, as they are built up against the forest not in it. Pets are welcome. We, unfortunately, do not have a bath/showerhouse in the camping area, we utilize an outhouse.
Diverse property of forests, wetlands, and fields. We welcome, horses, ATVs, pets, golf carts, bikes and guests ready to enjoy themselves. A couple hundred acres to explore, full of trails, on a snowmobile trail, and seriously beautiful hardscaping and landscaping. The stars at night are nothing short of a gift to watch above your campfire. Stand over the wildflower field and browse the autumn pumpkin patch before the herds of deer eat them up. Our property is home to many forest animals so keep your camera handy. We encourage gaurdians with children to bring bicycles because the kiddos seem to really get around on them to explore. There is a small playground as well. There are plenty of trails for horseback riding too.
