We are a fun spot for large groups!! If your family, company, or organization needs to get away, The Black Lantern Resort & Retreat is the place to go and be yourselves. Guests have the opportunity to relax in a picturesque Northern Minnesota getaway. We have many activities for guests to enjoy such as fishing, nature walks / hiking, grilling, and some structured events we can help you design an itinerary. See the "Services" we offer. 

There are various lodging options available to suit clients' different tastes, including cabins with amenities, RV sites with water and electricity that can double as camping sites, and primitive camping sites.

After a thorough consultation, The Black Lantern will be able to provide each group with a custom set up based on special interests and the group's goals and expectations. Give us your requests and needs and we will see what we can do for you!

Eventually, a lodge will also be available for indoor banquets. The lodge will be attached to a future store, office, & bathhouse. Please refer to our "Master Plan Report" to see what facilities are available and check our progress.
