This cabin is a masterpeice, handcrafted construction, custom fireplace enclosure, spacious custom bathroom and shower that has three showerheads, an open floorplan for living room and kitchen which is fully stocked with cooking utensils, and a bedroom you simply won't want to get out of- COZY COZY COZY!  

18 minutes from Bemidji, & 18 minutes to Itasca. Our 640 square foot, secret cabin, "Eleanor," was inspired by tree houses we played in as kids, but has all the amenities and comforts of modern living. The steepest part of the deck is 13 feet from the forest floor, giving guests a squirrel’s eye view of the pines. The shallowest part of the cabin is at ground level to allow easy accessibility.

Guys, this is the perfect getaway to propose to your sweetheart and take her breath away!

This four season cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a sofa with a sleeper, a full kitchen, a TV for movies only, radio, fireplace, and the bathroom has one shower with three shower heads. "Eleanor" is excellent for a couple or an individual seeking privacy. The cabin can hold four people if the sofa sleeper is used. 

The inside of the cabin is wheelchair accessible, but there is a slight slope in grade leading to the entrance of the cabin. The slope can be seen in the panoramic picture of the cabin in the photo gallery. Please call if you have questions about handicapped accessibility. Groceries and beverages are not provided, so bring your goodies with you!

ATTENTION FOR COMPLAINORS: We have an excellent service record, in 3 years we have had 1 displeased guest, and here is what we learned and now post to be super clear to help potential guests when they are booking our cabin "Eleanor" to avoid further exhaustion on our part.

If you want the Ritz- go to New York- if you want a great MN cabin- we have you covered. We are not psychics, we can't tell if you are going to LOVE everything about Eleanor, there are no garuntees in life, and we do not garuntee that you will love all three of our shower heads, or the firmness/softness of our bed. Everyone is different, this is something we love, and is why we are in this business to please people. What we can do without are the complainers. So if you just may not be able to possibly handle the direction our toilet flushes- do not make a reservation, and if you do make a reservation and cancel with us, plan on paying %50 of the total reservation, and if you are only intending to stay one night we have a cancellation fee of %100. This is a gorgeous cabin in the woods that 99.9% of people rave about, and a cabin we care about, and take VERY well care of. We have a low tolerance for people that are impossible to please because we are good people, down to Earth, and have too many problems the way it is.

1)We are in the forest- we have well water, not city water.

2)We have an air conditioner and two large ceiling fans which cool the cabin sufficiently- this is not a ducting system it is a window unit, so if you want it cool, be mindful to keep windows and doors shut.

3)We are in the woods- there are animals out here, it can be VERY quiet, and VERY dark. There are roots from trees on the ground, and pebbles on the ground from glaciers long long ago, so beware of natural conditions.

4)We are partly sorry to expose our sarcasm, but we are logical people with a good sense of humor when it comes to unpleasant situations, and we are honest in saying that we would really rather not be associated with people who can't fathom that they rented a place that did not meet the expectations of staying at a Vegas hotel.
